No field on this site requests a date of birth, income band or household profile. A gear shop has no operational use for them, so they are not collected.
02Purpose
Fulfilling orders, answering correspondence, meeting US tax and accounting obligations, and fraud screening. That is the complete list of purposes.
03Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies carry the cart and the session; the checkout cannot operate without them. Analytics cookies record page usage in aggregate. Blocking cookies in your browser disables cart persistence and nothing else.
04Processors
Data is shared only with parties required to complete the transaction: payment processor, delivery carrier, hosting provider, transactional email service. Each receives the minimum field set for its function.
No sale, rental or trade of personal data under any circumstance. No transfer to advertising networks. Disclosure to authorities only where a valid legal instrument compels it.
05Email
Transactional mail — confirmation, dispatch, tracking — is part of the order and is not optional. Marketing mail requires explicit opt-in and carries a functioning unsubscribe link in every send.
06Security posture
Site-wide HTTPS. Payment pages encrypted end to end. Administrative access restricted by role. No system is absolute; a breach affecting your data would be notified to you without delay.

08Your rights
Request a copy, a correction, or deletion of what we hold. Email [email protected]; we respond within 1 business day. Deletion cannot remove records we are legally obliged to retain — completed order and tax records. We state explicitly what is retained and on what basis.
09Minors
Not directed at under-13s and no knowing collection of their data. Where a child has submitted information, notify us and it is removed.
